Problem Note 33020: A warning message appears in the log file with the "Setup Type CLIENT" on Windows using SAS® 9.2

After installing Base SAS® from a client image, you might receive the following warning in the sassetup.log file:
SASREG: WARNING: Possible failure while importing SAS Registry files.
If you have tried applying the RegBld utility for SAS 9.2, running SAS, and you have the same results when opening the non-English version of SAS, check the sassetup.log file for the setup type. If the Setup Type is CLIENT, you will need to run the RegBld utility in the following way:
- Go to the FTP directory and save the 92regbld.exe file to C:\test
(or a directory of your choosing).
- Select Start ► Run (or on Vista, select Start).
- Enter the following command on the Run line:
C:\test\sas92reg.exe UseLocalConfig
You need Write access to the server path that is referenced in the local sasv9.cfg file on the -SET sasroot line. The sasv9.cfg file is located in !sasroot\nls\<language>\sasv9.cfg. The default location is C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.2\nls\en\sasv9.cfg.

- You can verify the type of installation by searching for the setup type in the sassetup.log file.
- If this is a client user installation, you will see: Setup Type CLIENT.
- If this is a personal user installation, you will see: Setup Type PERSONAL.
